“Casting Your Nets on the Other Side” (CYN) is a discernment and spiritual
growth initiative of the New
York Conference. Instead of offering “one
size fits all” or “cookie cutter” solutions, Casting Your Nets is a
process to help individual congregations:
- realize greater effectiveness in the mission for which God gathers
and sends them;
- relate to more people through life-changing ministries;
- recruit and encourage forward-looking leaders;
- raise up new traditions as well as update the tried and true;
and
- reflect God’s love further-- in uniquely compelling ways.
